Gala Life was first published in 2009
From its early beginings in Galashiels, Gala Life quickly expanded to include Clovenfords, Tweedbank
and Melrose. We now cover 12,000 households in the area.
The magazine has developed its own unique style of editorial features, local updates and great recipes. With lots of popular monthly informative features and regulars such as Willie’s Wonky Computer Factory, Fitness with Alan Clinch, Border Vets and The Gala Garden, it really is a great read. Our Get Out section and What’s On Diary also means it is referred to time and again throughout the month - great news for our advertisers! We also have an on-line version accessible through this website, why not share with your friends and family that have moved away! In 2014 we celebrated our 5th birthday by opening a sister magazine in Highland Perthshire. You can view that from here. Gala Life is delivered by a local team, who every month work tirelessly to ensure each copy is hand delivered over a weekend.
